Today was the first day of school. On Monday the room was just a pile of boxes, but thanks to Mom and Dad I was able to pull off a prett decent looking room this morning. Of course as I met my class they quickly realized that I had a baby in my tummy. As we were walking on our school tour, a couple of girls started asking me questions, like "How can you be a teacher AND a mom?" to which I replied that I was going to have a lot of help. Then the other goes "Yeah OK but how are you growing it in there?" And that, my friends, is when I changed the subject. First day, second hour, yeah. Not ready for that kind of conversation!
I am at 24 weeks, the baby is moving lots and is about 1.4 pounds. Apparently he is about a foot long, the same as an ear of corn.
